WOODPOL COLORWOOD PIGMENTED FINISH-MELAMINISED

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR NEW WOOD
Wood article to be coated must be dry & free of dust & loose particles. Sand surface along the grains with emery paper #180.

»  FILLER COAT
Apply one or two coats of woodpol wood filler using putty knife or musclin cloth depending upon surface smoothness. Remove excess of filler immediately. Allow it to dry for a minimum 2-3 hours. Sand with emery paper #180 followed by #320. Ensure complete removal of filler from the surface .

»  PRIMER COAT
Apply a coat of woodpol wood primer - white and allow it to dry for 3-4 hours. Sand with emery paper #320.

FINISH COAT
Select shade available in satin or glossy. Alternatively you can inter mix two or three shade to get desired shades. Apply one or two coats of woodpol color wood and allow it to dry for minimum of 5-6 hours. Sand with emery paper #320/400 between application of successive coats.
A top coat of woodpol natural wood finish clear glossy over woodpol color wood glossy will give additional protection and enhance the gloss level.

FOR PREPOLISHED WOOD
Sand the surface with emery paper #180 & follow the step no (2) & (3) recommended for new wood. Also old polish or coating can be removed completely by using EASY STRIPP Paint & Varnish Remover.

GENERAL INFORMATION
»  Stir the contents well before use since soft sedimentation may occur on storage. Strain through musclin cloth in glass or plastic container. Mixing pot, stirrer & spray gun should be free of moisture since system is sensitive to moisture.
»  Mix only required amount of Base & Hardner to be used. Do not transfer unused or Left - over material after used into original container as it cause the whole container to gelled up.
»  Since system have limited Pot-life (after mixing Base & Hardner) after which they should not be used.
»  Recoating and Hard dry time may be more in case of High humid conditions and/or low ambient temperature.
»  Coverage & dry time varies depend on film thickness, quantity of thinner used & nature of wood.

HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION
»  Handle products in areas of good ventilation. Avoid inhaling vapours since product contains volatile organic solvents.
»  Wear normal protective overalls. Solvent resistant hand gloves, eye goggles are recommended. Avoid skin contact.
»  The product is flammable and the container should therefore be kept away from fire & spark or any ignition source. STORAGE, HANDLING & DISPOSAL

STORAGE, HANDLING & DISPOSAL
» Store in original container in cool, dry & well ventilated place.
»  While Handling, avoid inhalation and skin contact. Force ventilation or fresh air mask should be used in confined spaces.
»  Dispose in land filling and not in drain or water ways.
